Alonnissos is one of the islands of the Northern Sporades and is situated east of the island Skopelos. Its extent is nearly 65 km2 and about 1800 people are living on the island. Agios Dimitrios is a large spit of land that sticks into the sea, towards the eastern end of the island. The large pebbly beach is quiet most of the time. There is a cantina where you can get food and drinks.
